Ever since the introduction of the first My Girl model in 2002, Scotty listened to the feedback and set out to create a mallet design that would set up perfectly and inspire even more confidence. In early 2003 Scotty started working on a putter design, code named cabriolet, written on a napkin. He started with the shape, which he wanted to keep simple, and experimented with different metals to give the putter the perfect sound and feel. Scotty also wanted to refine the shaft bend. He kept it simple; opting for a single bend shaft that gives a clear, unobstructed view of the ball. To give the My Girl a special touch, Scotty completed the putter in a beautiful Black Pearl finish over the stainless steel body and added three sightlines on the flange for alignment. A pink aluminum plate with new My Girl graphics covers the sole. At 33" in length and a corresponding weight of 350 grams, this putter is made to perform. Completing the look, Scotty designed a headcover and grip that would make the putter as distinctive as it is special. Scotty made 1,000 of the new My Girl design.
